Sally Henderson.
Sally is a Level 4 registered Clinical Counsellor and Supervisor with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA 9771) and the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA 29988).
She is an addiction specialist, offering support in areas such as Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD), gambling, trauma and PTSD, relationships (couples and individuals), grief and loss, domestic violence, and sexual assault.
Her approach is attachment-informed, relational, and person-centered. She incorporates a range of therapeutic modalities, including talk therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, somatic therapies, Yoga therapy, and traditional breathwork rooted in classical yoga, alongside evidence-based practices. Experiential and somatic therapies further enrich her work.
Sally holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Practice and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science (Counselling) from the University of Sunshine Coast. She has also pursued studies in Naturopathy, Social Science, Counselling and Social Work, trauma and human development, addiction and substance misuse, as well as Polyvagal Theory and its applications. Additionally, she has completed over 1,500 hours of training in classical yoga and philosophy (E-RYT).
Sally provides Redress counselling and Employment Assistance Program (EAP) counselling for associated organisations. Private health rebates are also available.
